How to set up Eudora Light for e-mail

Using a web browser, download Eudora Light from <http://www.eudora.com> (or FTP directly from: <ftp://ftp.eudora.com/eudora/eudoralight/mac/english/3.1.1/eudoralight311.hqx>

1. From the Special menu, choose Settings
   
   
2. In the menu bar click on Getting Started.
   
   
3. Real Name:  type in your name.
   POP account:  type in username@pophost.suffolk.lib.ny.us (using your own username, of course).
   Return address:  type in your e-mail address.
   
   
   
4. In the menu bar click on Hosts.
   SMTP: smtphost.suffolk.lib.ny.us

That should be it.

All of the other Eudora settings allow you to customize your user preferences, but do not affect your ability to use the Suffolk computer as your mail server.
